Share your experience, guidance, and encouragement with other parents who are walking a similar journey. As a mentor, you can offer one-on-one support or help lead parent-led support groups—ensuring no family has to face challenges alone.

Our events bring families, neighbors, and supporters together to celebrate, raise awareness, and build hope. From resource fairs to holiday giving, each event helps shine a light on children and families with unique needs. We’d love your help to make these moments possible—whether it’s lending a hand at a vendor table, packing gift baskets, or cheering families on at a celebration. Every event is a chance to spread kindness and connection in our community.

Do you enjoy sewing, crocheting, or crafting with purpose? Our Threads of Love volunteers use their talents to bring comfort and joy to families in need. From prayer quilts to sensory capes and weighted blankets, each handmade piece carries warmth, care, and hope. By sharing your creativity, you become part of a circle of compassion that supports children and families in our community in meaningful ways.

Families in South Central PA deserve strong voices standing beside them. As an advocate, you can help connect families with resources, offer encouragement, and ensure their needs are heard. Whether you’re experienced in advocacy or just beginning, we’ll support you every step of the way.

Soon, we’ll also offer an “Introduction to Advocating” course—complete with a Certificate of Completion—to help you feel confident and equipped. Together, we can make sure no family has to navigate this journey alone.

• Hosting able-friendly/sensory-friendly community events for children of all abilities
   
• Launching respite volunteer nights to give parents a much-needed break
   
• Partnering with local groups to create inclusive/safe spaces for play and connection
   
• Expanding our parent-led advocacy training to empower more families
