2025 Impact Report

In 2025, Kira's Grace Foundation launched the Grace Mobile Closet, a vital initiative in our disability advocacy efforts, providing families with free medical supplies and durable medical equipment—delivered directly to their homes. 

Through this program, we:

- Assisted over 50 families in need of support for families

- Delivered 500+ medical supply items

- Accepted and redistributed donated equipment to keep resources circulating within our local community.

We expanded the Butterfly Exchange, a key initiative of Kira's Grace Foundation, to provide specialized adaptive equipment and support for families in need of disability advocacy. We supported 2 families, saving each over $1,750 in out-of-pocket costs by lending equipment rather than purchasing new.

In 2025, Kira's Grace Foundation made significant strides in disability advocacy by:  

Successfully advocating for a family to receive $4,200 in reimbursement for a wheelchair ramp installed in 2021.  

Helping a local community member maintain her independence by funding a brand-new wheelchair.  

Supporting families through healthcare advocacy by:  

Challenging incomplete or insufficient genetic testing.  

Assisting families in obtaining safety beds, wheelchairs, and adaptive car seats through advocacy, referrals, and education, showcasing our commitment to providing vital support for families.

We hosted our first Holiday Paint & Sip Fundraiser, successfully raising $411 to provide support for families in need. This effort directly assisted a local family by sponsoring: 

- A Thanksgiving meal basket 

- A Christmas meal basket 

- A special visit from Santa, complete with gifts 

Additionally, we participated as a vendor at our first community resource fair, fostering connections between families and local supports. In our ongoing commitment to disability advocacy, we began collaborating with local school districts to share valuable disability resources that were previously unknown or underutilized through Kira's Grace Foundation.

And perhaps most importantly—we listened. 

We showed up. 

We walked alongside families during some of their hardest moments, providing essential support for families through Kira's Grace Foundation. 

This foundation may be small, but the impact we have in disability advocacy is real—and this is only the beginning.
